For the first time at the Wheaty, Two Birds Brewer & Co-Founder Jayne Lewis and Co-Founder Dani 'the other Bird' Allen will be holding court across The Wheaty's Taps and raring to talk Sunsets, Avian Collaborations, tacos, fennel, stainless & what it's like brewing on opposite ends of the country...
In addition to pouring the Bird's Golden and Sunset Ales we've been lucky to land a couple of limited release brews, with which, in the spirit of 'why settle for one?' we've decided to play...
Inspired by their recent trip to Southern California, Taco (6% ABV) is a hoppy Wheat beer with coriander leaf, fresh lime peel and corn. "It's fresh, zesty and dangerously drinkable and was really well received at GABS" . Naturally we've paired it with the muy excelente Tacocat Food Truck; a very tasty, and very literal Taco Taco.
And there's also the Three-Way Avian Collaboration - Two Birds/3 Ravens/Parrot Dog 'Fly by Night' Black IPA (6.6% ABV) - which, as per long standing Wheaty tradition, we have decided to pour '3-Ways'; on regular Tap, On Handpump & through TheGlasshopper. Three-Way 3-Ways...
From 4pm Sunday we'll be pouring:

If this all sounds too complicated (as well it might merely hours after the Mid Winter Ball) just rock up between 4pm-6pm on Sunday for excellent beer, deliciosoTacos, Schlook raffles, dodgy badges, Two Birds bling & the opportunity to chat to one of the best Brewers in the country...
