The Baker Suite excel at unfolding relaxed stories full of humility an subtle seduction. Their collaboration of poetry and music with evocative melody carries the listener on journey's from a seaside carnival ground to the central desert. They’re best described as pop/folk cinematic storytelling. John’s sound is Paul Simon meets Nick Drake, with Gayle Buckby’s ethereal accordion steering it towards the soundtrack from the film, Amelie. Lucifer's Lounge are Adelaide's most popular lounge cabaret band. Featuring Gerry Masi on vocals, Paul White on organ, and Steve Todd on drums, the band will have you up and dancing in your frocks and tails 'til the sun comes up (figuratively speaking; the Pub closes at 2am...)!
